Background ONWUKA Oyibo Goddey is a lecturer in the Department of History and International Studies, University of Delta, Agbor. He was born on 29th June,1964. He attended Ekuku-Agbor Grammar School. Ekuku- Agbor from 1976 to 1981 and College of Education, Agbor, from 1982 to 1985. He holds a B.A.(Ed) in History, from Delta State University, Abraka, Masters in International History and Diplomacy (MIHD) from University of Benin, Benin City and ( M.SC) in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from National Open University Of Nigeria. He is a Doctoral candidate of the University of Ibadan. He is a member of the Historical Society of Nigeria (HSN) and Teachers’ Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN). He was the pioneer Head of the Department of History and International Studies, University of Delta, Agbor. In the defunct College of Education, Agbor, Mr O. G. Onwuka was Head of Department of History, 2010-2011, Member Teaching Practice Committee 2012- 2016, Assistant Dean, School of Arts and Social Sciences, 2014 – 2016, Member, Certificate Verification Committee, 2016 – 2018, Member Project Committee, 2016 – 2021 and Dean, School of Arts and Social Sciences 2018 – 2020. His area of specialization includes Peace and Conflict Studies, African History, International and Diplomatic Studies.
